Cill Chriosd ruin, ( ..known also as Kilchrist.. ) was reputedly once the Manse of the Minister of Strath for the old Kirk in Strath Suardal, who left in 1824. At one time, there were believed to be eight dwellings on the site, it is now frequented by Sheep, Ravens, and the occasional Golden Eagle. Wonderful views of Blaven and Beinn na Caillich. Many Limestone outcrops provide a great foreground for photography. Site of an old Marble Quarry and the only railway on Skye !
